We are currently replacing the deck. The demolition and rebuild is difficult. Being in our seventies and facing the high temperstures and humidity in TN at this time only exacerbates the this awful task. I spent many hours costing my deck last year.
I am confident that I followed the directions on the can as far as cleaning and prepping the surface. In total shock that this is actually happening with this brand of paint. Behr should remove this product from the shelves until it can be resolved. I have a small deck on front of house with roof over it.

My large back deck is going to probably be replaced. I purchased 3 five gallon buckets and I totally regret using it. I bought a lot of this deck over and my deck is constantly peeling. The boards on my deck are rotting and i have a huge deck. Or 1100 square foot deck now has to be redecked.
Spent so much time prepping the deck then spent $200 on this product only to have it peel off in less than a year. Wish I could post pictures of it on here. I still see the crap sold at Home Depot.

Worst product ever after only one year. My husband wanted a product that would require low upkeep. Well now he has passed away and I have more upkeep than ever.
